First Aid at Work

This 3-day course training Course is ideal for high risk businesses such as Construction sites, Garages, Workshops.  This courses builds on the topics covered in the emergency first aid at work course and allows more hands on practical experience.

About this Course

Participants will acquire the essential skills to confidently provide first aid in the workplace. The course covers extensive knowledge on handling first aid emergencies.

  • Compliance with HSE regulations, including first aid kits, and incident/accident recording

  • Evaluating casualties

  • Techniques in recovery position and CPR

  • Managing choking and airway obstructions

  • Addressing both major and minor bleeding (external and internal)

  • Treating injuries to eyes, ears, and nose, managing fractures, muscle, and joint injuries

  • Addressing head and spinal injuries

  • Recognition and treatment of various shocks (including anaphylactic and electric)

  • Management of burns, scalds, heart conditions, and stroke

  • Responding to seizures, diabetes, and poisoning cases

  • Operation of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
